Services

I fix small appliances, electronics, and household items. I buy parts from local businesses as much as possible.

I do not fix major appliances, such as refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, washing machines, etc. I do not fix computers, laptops, phones, tablets, or hi-fi equipment, since there are many specialized repair shops for those.

  • Lamps and lighting (lamps, lights, light switches, etc.)
  • Household electronics (CD/DVD players, A/V connections, radios, etc.)

  • Many other random items

My Approach:

  • Listen to your needs and desires
  • Slow, careful, methodical work
  • Honest communication
  • Clear pricing with no surprises
  • Repair over replace, whenever practical

Pricing

At the heart of my business is reducing landfill waste, pushing back against throwaway culture, and helping you keep the things you already own. I know repair costs can sometimes exceed the price of a new item, so I'm always willing to work with you to find a solution that works for both of us. And if you'd like, I can show you exactly how the repair was done so you can handle it yourself next time. Currently accepted payment methods are cash, check, Zelle.

Meet the Owner

My name is Peter Vieira. Originally from New Hampshire, I've lived in Tucson since 2021, but have been coming here for decades with my family. I'm the owner of a Joesler home that I hope to be a good steward of.

My Passion:

My Skills:

I started out as a Mechanical Engineer, and then moved to robotics software and controls in Grad School and Jet Propulsion Lab. Since 2019, I've been doing web development. I speak decent French, workable Japanese and Mandarin, and some Spanish.

My Hobbies:

I love trail running, cycling, inline skating, basketball, soccer, pool, table-tennis, frisbee, harmonica, guitar, the blues, ancestry and home research, and being curious.
